Another Lady that regularly visits our property is the American Lady (the other is Painted Lady Vanessa cardui). The easiest way for me to distinguish the two is by the pattern on their hindwings: American Ladies have two large eyespots on the hindwing below, while the Painted Ladies have a submarginal row of four small eyespots.
