Stink Beetles (or stinkbugs, as I like to call them) are abundant here on our property. The first time I saw one was probably circa 2007 - they're unmistakable because of their shiny black bodies and penchant to stand up on their front legs and stick their hiny up at you when disturbed, potentially emitting a weak stinky odor in the process. The photos here are of a stink beetle meandering through our campsite at Jumbo Rocks on our recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park.
